Patch Test Required Before Every Use

Couleurs Couture permanent hair color, along with all developers and lighteners sold on this Site, contain ingredients (including but not limited to oxidative dyes such as PPD/PTD-type compounds) that can cause a severe allergic reaction in some individuals, even if the product has been used safely before.

You must perform a patch test at least 48 hours before every application — including if you have used this product, or a similar hair color product, safely in the past. Sensitivity can develop at any time.

How to patch test: Apply a small amount of the mixed product to a small area of skin (such as behind the ear or the inner elbow). Leave undisturbed for 48 hours. Do not use the product if you experience itching, redness, burning, swelling, blistering, or any other irritation at or near the test site — discontinue and do not proceed with a full application.

Intended for Trained/Professional Use

These products are formulated for use by licensed cosmetologists, colorists, or individuals with equivalent training in the application of professional oxidative hair color. Use by an untrained individual increases the risk of chemical burns, hair breakage, scalp irritation, and improper results. Luxury Brands Collective assumes no liability for injury or damage resulting from use by an untrained individual or from failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Do Not Use If

You have previously had any reaction to hair dye or PPD-containing products.
You have a cut, abrasion, or irritation on the scalp.
You intend to use the product on eyebrows or eyelashes — hair color and lighteners in this Site are not formulated or approved for eyebrow or eyelash use and can cause serious injury, including blindness, if used near the eyes.
You are pregnant or nursing and have not consulted a physician (as a precaution — consult your doctor).

Allergic Reaction Warning

In rare cases, allergic reactions to hair color can be severe, including anaphylaxis, and can be life-threatening. If you experience difficulty breathing, swelling of the face/throat, or any severe reaction during or after use, seek emergency medical attention immediately.

Follow Manufacturer Instructions

Always follow the mixing ratios, processing times, and application instructions included with each product. Do not exceed recommended processing time. Keep all products out of reach of children.
